When I think of the County Fair I think of pie eating contests, pig races, great music and down home cooking. Throughout America, county fairs have resembled a wonderful group of energetic, hard working, and fun loving people.

Back in the day, the fair had all of the elements of an old home week. — families looked forward to seeing friends and family at the fair. It’s where great memories were made and these memories are still going strong at The Orange County Fair in Southern California. The Orange County fair started in 1889 on Fruit Street in Santa Ana as a small 5 day community celebration and has since become a 23 day event that is one of Orange County’s most eagerly awaited events of the year.
